On 15 February 2021, the CJEU published the request for a preliminary ruling from the court of Hannover, Germany, in one of the trucks cases against Daimler. The court sought clarification on whether the Commission’s decision must be interpreted as meaning that special-purpose/specialised vehicles, in particular refuse collection vehicles, are also covered by the findings of the Commission.[1]
